About Christina
Christina Thompson is a soprano and performing artist whose work is rooted in classical vocal tradition and shaped by a wide-ranging musical sensibility. She is currently pursuing her studies in Vocal Performance at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, where she studies classical voice and jazz under acclaimed vocalists and educators, Dr. Carl DuPont and Professor Charenee Wade.
Her artistic work encompasses opera, art song, musical theatre, jazz, and contemporary repertoire, reflecting an interest in both the traditions of classical performance and the possibilities of cross-genre artistry. Through her performances, Christina approaches music with an emphasis on expressive storytelling, vocal nuance, and an authentic connection to both text and audience.
As she continues to develop her professional career, Christina is building a body of work across the stage, concert platform, and recording studio, with a commitment to thoughtful musicianship and compelling performance across genres.
